I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it means to leave Microsoft, and it’s very exciting, but today I got bitch-slapped with the Reality Stick. This is really happening, really soon, and it’s really scaring the Hell out of me.

For those of you who haven’t known me very long, it seems that this is pretty much all I’ve ever done. I dropped out of high school, had grunt jobs for a handful of years, then crash landed at MS. It’s all that I know I’ve ever been good at. I’ve had other accomplishments and achievements (I think), but not many like this.

While the whole thing is very exciting, it’s terrifying at the same time.

Alright, I’m done being whiney.
