There’s always one more thing
I got a call from BCC the other day. Again. It seems that they needed access to my high school transcripts or proof of GED. I told them that they should be able to see my GED in the system, as I got it at BCC in December. Short version; I had to go to campus yesterday and sign a waiver to allow the BCC folks to release my transcripts to … themselves. I guess I appreciate the vigilance regarding my privacy, but the assessment people are right next door. They could literally fold my GED score sheet into a paper airplane and zing it to the financial aid office. I can only hope that now everything is all set to go. *sigh*
On the plus side, I stopped by the bookstore and bought my first college psych textbook. Actually, it’s 1160 pages in two textbooks, plus about 200 pages online. I’m going to absorb all this stuff in ten weeks, in addition to Math tests, a daily journal, and weekly English essays? Kimberly says that it’ll be a lot easier than I expect, and some part of my brain is inclined to believe her, but it’s still quite daunting.
Oh, my school dreams have started. It was years before I stopped having nightmares about high school, and they’re back. Whee!

you can do it. I know you can.
