New plans
Summer quarter is now over, I took my math final last Thursday. I got an A in my online computer class, which was no real surprise, but get this; I got an A in math as well. My end score in the class was 108%! My homework and quiz scores were high enough that I could have literally skipped the final exam and still received an A- for the quarter. Don’t tell anyone, but I actually really like math. How weird is that? My GPA is now 3.6.
Anyway, I’ll be taking time off from school to go back to work for six months or a year, we’ll see. We were counting on a pretty large chunk of money coming in from the sale of Kimberly’s house but it didn’t happen as planned. Without that money I need to start pulling in a paycheck. It’s a small speed bump on my way to a degree.
I had two interviews in the Windows Mobile Devices division at MS on Wednesday which went ok. They called me back in for a third interview today which went very well, so hopefully I’ll hear something from the temp agency soon. It’s the same group I was in about six years ago and I still know a few people there, so it should be a fine place to work for a while.
